Position Overview: The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the planning, execution, and monitoring of all marketing activities related to the Next Step Fair. This role is critical in ensuring that the event is well-promoted, attracts the target audience, and achieves its objectives. The Marketing Coordinator will collaborate with various teams, including graphic design, PR, and program management, to create cohesive and impactful marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have experience in event marketing, a strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Key Responsibilities: • Marketing Strategy Development: Work closely with the event leadership team to develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for the Next Step Fair, targeting students, universities, and other key stakeholders. • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and social media, to maximize event visibility and engagement. • Social Media Management: Oversee the event’s social media presence by creating and scheduling posts, engaging with the online community, and monitoring social media analytics to optimize performance. • Content Creation: Collaborate with the graphic design team to develop visually appealing marketing materials, including brochures, banners, email templates, and social media content. • Partnership and Sponsorship Coordination: Work with partners and sponsors to leverage their networks for event promotion and ensure that their branding and messaging align with the event’s goals. • Media Relations: Assist the PR team in drafting press releases, coordinating media outreach, and organizing press conferences or interviews related to the event. • Email Marketing: Design and manage email marketing campaigns to keep prospective attendees informed about the event details, registration, and updates. • Market Research: Conduct research to identify trends, target audiences, and best practices in event marketing, and apply findings to improve campaign effectiveness. • Analytics and Reporting: Track the performance of marketing campaigns, analyze data, and prepare reports with insights and recommendations for future improvements. • On-Site Marketing Support: Provide on-site support during the event, ensuring that all marketing materials are properly displayed and that the brand message is consistently communicated.
